Medical air
ULTRACECO
ULTRACECO is the Ultra Controlo family of compressors: oil-less scroll and piston air compressors (SC, SCA, ESW), larger two-stage rotary air compressors (SCR), and oil-free high pressure compressors that fill oxygen cylinders (HP, HPT, HPX).
The letters after the name matter, because the family covers two different jobs: making compressed air, and compressing oxygen into cylinders.
| Line | Type | Where it is used |
|---|---|---|
| ULTRACECO SC | Oil-less scroll air compressor; compression exempt of oil or grease; up to eight skids under one QuAir PLC controller | ULTRAAR SC medical air plants; industrial compressed air |
| ULTRACECO SCA | Oil-less scroll air compressor with QuAir PLC control | ULTRAAR SCA medical air units |
| ULTRACECO ESW | Oil-free piston air compressor with QuAir 3 touch-screen control | ULTRAAR ESW medical air plants; industries such as food and beverages, pulp and paper |
| ULTRACECO SCR | Larger two-stage rotary air compressor with an oil mist remover for the gearcase; fixed and variable speed models at 60 Hz | Compressed air plants |
| ULTRACECO HP, HPT, HPX | Oil-free high pressure oxygen compressors for cylinder filling | ULTRAFIL oxygen filling stations (HP, HPT) |
Ultra Controlo describes its oil-less ULTRACECO compressors as Class 0 under ISO 8573-1. The ULTRAOX SC oxygen plant uses oil-less ULTRACECO compressors, whereas the ULTRAOX ST uses oil-injected ULTRASCREW compressors. Air capacities in the SC, SCA and ESW tables are measured to ISO 1217, Annex C.
