Speck pumps in Portugal

Speck Pumpen products in the Ultra Controlo catalogue

The Industrial 2026 catalogue lists Speck Pumpen under liquid pumps, with centrifugal, peripheral and side-channel pumps for industrial and domestic hydraulic applications, and says that Speck Pumpen technology is applied to domestic, industrial and public or municipal installations.

The catalogue also lists Speck liquid-ring vacuum pumps for sterilisers and regenerative turbine and small centrifugal pumps.

Side-channel pumps

The manufacturer describes side channel pumps, also known as turbine pumps, as hydraulic continuous-flow machines and a sub-type of centrifugal pump, suitable for clear to lightly contaminated liquids with no abrasive contamination or solid content. For side channel blowers, see side channel blowers.

Speck is now Circutec

The manufacturer's website announces that, as of 10 June 2025, Speck introduced a new brand name, Circutec. It describes the Circutec Group as a family-run enterprise in the mechanical engineering sector, headquartered in Roth, Germany, that manufactures pumps and compressors for industrial applications, and traces the Speck name to a company founded in Nuremberg in 1909 that started by manufacturing piston pumps. The Ultra Controlo Industrial 2026 catalogue uses the name Speck Pumpen.
