QuAir
According to the Ultra Controlo datasheets, QuAir is the PLC controller of the ULTRACECO SC and SCA scroll compressors: in the ULTRACECO SC it starts and stops the skids automatically, with the aim of saving energy and scroll unit lifetime, and the ULTRACECO ESW piston range uses QuAir 3 touch-screen controllers.
The basic configuration of an ULTRACECO SC compressor starts with a single skid, made of scroll, motor and base frame, and can evolve up to eight skids integrated in one controller. The datasheet lists no idle running and progressive starting according to air demand among its energy savings. The ULTRACECO SCA is controlled the same way, through a QuAir PLC controller, and ULTRAAR SC medical air plants are built on ULTRACECO SC compressors.
In the ACIH hospital industrial air system, QuAir with a digital console and communication with a PC is one of the control options, alongside analogue and digital control. ULTRAVAC vacuum systems offer a different controller, digital QuVAC control with a touch-screen panel.
