UNGM (United Nations Global Marketplace)
The UNGM (United Nations Global Marketplace) is, in its own glossary, the common procurement portal of the UN system, bringing together UN procurement staff and the supplier community, with a central registration process for multiple UN organizations (glossary read 23 October 2026).
UNGM describes itself as the official procurement platform of the United Nations, where suppliers register at no cost, and only once, to have access to up to 32 organizations. For UN organizations it lists publishing opportunities and contract awards, performing due diligence to ensure suppliers are not on sanction lists, and sharing and piggybacking on long-term agreements, and it says that, as mandated by the General Assembly, all organizations of the UN are encouraged to participate in UNGM.
UNICEF posts its business opportunities on UNGM, where tender notices from other UN organizations are also available, and says all applications to become a UNICEF supplier must be made via UNGM, with no charge to register. The UNGM Knowledge Center also hosts the UN Procurement Practitioner's Handbook, whose English version is dated February 2022. See long-term agreement and how UN agencies procure oxygen plants.
